Mercey Livingston is a writer, editor, and content strategist with experience leading, developing, and executing successful content strategies at top health and fitness brands, including Equinox and Peloton. With 8+ years of experience in the media, editorial, and content industry, she specializes in women’s health, functional and integrative health/wellness, and fitness. She is currently the Fitness Editor at Peloton where she leads Fitness content for Peloton’s blog, The Output.

Previously, she was the Editorial Manager at Equinox, where she spearheaded the launch of Equinox’s new editorial initiative, writing and editing articles for Equinox’s app. At Equinox she brought on a roster of top wellness, fitness, and lifestyle writers and helped shape the brand’s new editorial voice and strategy.

She was previously an Editor at Shape.com and worked on the editorial team at Well+Good. A seasoned journalist and contributing writer, she's interviewed a wide range of wellness industry experts, doctors, nutritionists, trainers, and other pros, translating the advice and information they give into accessible and engaging content for media outlets including Well+Good, Women’s Health, SELF, Shape, Glamour, The Zoe Report, Prevention, Business Insider, and CNET. She has also written for brands including Parsley Health, HUM Nutrition, The Well, and Bonafide Health.

In past lives, she produced and hosted her own podcast, Wellness Unedited, and produced podcasts for Well+Good, Kelly Leveque (Be Well by Kelly Podcast), and the women's career/personal development podcast Women, Work, and Worth

Mercey is a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition with an additional certification in Hormone Health. She is also a NASM CPT and a NASM-certified Women’s Fitness Specialist. She lives in New York City with her long-haired Dachshund, Phoebe.
